The Movie "Brave"

 We watched the movie "Brave" today, which I enjoyed.  I was pleased to note that, despite the presence of a "win the hand of the princess" routine, the core plot is not about romance.  It's about personal identity and (somewhat rocky) family dynamics.  It's nice to see a princess who looks at the proffered suitors, is utterly unimpressed by all of them, and goes after something totally different instead.

I think there's a lot of potential for ace fanfic here.
